Rachel Lane | Principal

Rachel Lane is Australia’s aged care guru. Her engaging explanations of the ins and outs of financing retirement living and aged care are embraced by thousands of readers of the Sydney Morning Herald, Melbourne’s Age, and the Brisbane Times and she frequently speaks on radio and television.

She has co-authored a number of books including the best-seller Aged Care, Who Cares? with finance expert Noel Whittaker who she has again teamed up with recently to write “Downsizing Made Simple”.

Rachel has specialised in retirement living and aged care for more than 15 years and holds a Masters in Financial Planning which included a thesis on the financial drivers of consumers and operators in aged care.

Jemma Briscoe | Head of Research and Technical Advice

Jemma is responsible for developing and delivering a variety of accredited workshops and webinars to Financial Planners, Lawyers and Accountants. Jemma also conducts ongoing research and provides technical support and assistance to the professionals providing advice in this space..

Jemma is a lecturer and tutor at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). Where she delivers undergraduate and post graduate subjects within the school of finance and is a subject matter expert for the Masters of Financial Planning.

Jemma has a background in equities research, consulting and Chartered accounting, holds a Masters of Applied Finance, Bachelor of Business and is a CPA.
